The Corpus Christi Housing Authority (CCHA) is conducting a national search for the position of Vice President Rental Housing. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this is an extraordinary career opportunity to join one of the most creative and innovative housing authorities in the United States. Now in its 82nd year of service, CCHA provides rental subsidies and develops affordable housing for low-income families, seniors, and persons with disabilities living in the City of Corpus Christi. Ideal candidates will be highly skilled housing property management professionals (under Public Housing, Rental Assistance Demonstration, and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Programs), with knowledge of Section 8, maintenance, real estate development, and capital fund programs. Candidates must have the ability to provide senior-level leadership to all aspects of rental housing management and maintenance in a diverse and dynamic environment.
The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible managerial experience in public housing, or a related field, inclusive of management and oversight of staff.
The salary for the Vice President of Rental Housing is dependent upon qualifications (DOQ) and will be based upon the selected candidate’s experience and salary history. CCHA will provide a competitive salary and excellent benefits.
