The position is assigned to a Property and performs difficult administrative work. The Strategic Analyst assists the Property Manager to ensure the monitoring, evaluating, researching, reporting on, developing, and implementing internal controls of the Property is in line with Federal, State and Local law, program rules, regulations and/or financial restrictions, as well as the Agency's policies and procedures. Requires a Bachelor's degree with coursework in business administration, public administration, management, social science, real estate management or related field. At least three (3) years of experience working with Federally Assisted Housing program; considerable progressively responsible experience in public housing with internal compliance, audit and experience working with HUD's Inventory Management System (IMS)/Public and Indian Housing (PIH) Information Center (PIC), its associated reports, the error correction process and performing complex corrections; and reviewing, evaluating and managing operations to obtain effectiveness and efficiency. Experience in HUD funded grant programs and RAD is preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
