The Vice President of Housing Choice Voucher Program is a highly responsible position overseeing program administration and operations for the Moving to Work and non-MTW Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) programs. The VP of HCV directs and manages the Service Center where a majority of the program administration pertaining to program access and continued program participation is performed. This includes all application intake and screening duties for the Housing Choice Voucher Program (Section 8), all annual and interim recertification activities, all Section 8 Program administration and aspects of the public housing and Section 8 Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) and Homeownership programs.
The Service Center also serves as the primary point of contact for program participants, landlords and vendors’ customer service issues. The VP of HCV has the lead responsibility for making certain that HANH performs the administrative tasks related to program selection and continued eligibility in a manner that meets HUD regulations and ECC/HANH policies. The VP of HCV reports directly to the Sr. VP of Operations.
