Vice President of Affordable Housing: The Richmond Redevelopment and Housing Authority (VA) seeks an individual to guide the alignment of the Authority’s public housing communities with private sector management models, HUD rules and regulations, and the strategic plan. The position oversees and coordinates strategies for affordable housing including public housing management; housing choice voucher programs; housing opportunity and self-sufficiency programs; facilities and maintenance operations; capital improvement projects, public housing resident programs; application and placement services; and reporting services. This role will be instrumental in maintaining the existing portfolio as it is being transformed using RAD, Section 8, Section 18, LIHTC and various other funding tools. Lead and manage subordinate department directors, managers, and administrative staff to determine and attain organizational objectives and strategies. This comprehensive position has a salary range of $90,000. – 144,000.00 with a sign-on bonus for relocation and temporary living arrangements. Required qualifications: Bachelors degree and preferred graduate degree in public administration, business, urban planning or related field, 10 – 15 years of upper level management experience in profit/non-profit, public/affordable and development/redevelopment operations or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
