Under supervision of the Director of Development, the Project Manager will oversee the supervision, planning, coordination, scheduling, implementation, and management of moderate and substantial residential and commercial development projects.
The Project Manager will handle all aspects of the project to ensure successful implementation, both timely and on budget. Creates and executes project work plans, and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities to team members. Appropriately evaluates financial models to determine the financial feasibility of projects. The candidate will require critical thinking and managerial skills to perform financial analysis and proficiently evaluates and analyzes plans to minimize exposure and risk on projects, while maximizing project profitability through effective management. The Project Manager will ensure projects follow respective schedules and scope and manage the project throughout the entire process (from conception through placed-in-service).
The Project Manager will be the point of contact between DHA and various partners on the projects, which may include but is not limited to City, County, Developers, consultants, inspectors, financial lenders, and investors. The selected candidate will exercise fiduciary responsibility for the accurate tracking and reporting of expenses and activities for each project, due diligence collection and submission, and reporting to leadership on project status. The candidate must have project management skills and capacity to handle varying priorities of projects. Able to multi-task and communicate clearly and effectively in both oral and written formats. The Project Manager will be responsible for special duties and projects, as assigned.
