The Cambridge Housing Authority seeks qualified applicants for the above position within the Operations Department of the Cambridge Housing Authority. This position is responsible for a wide range of semi-skilled and skilled repair and maintenance activities for CHA buildings and grounds. Duties include, but are not limited to carpentry, plumbing, painting, mechanical and electrical systems/equipment installation and repair. The full position description is available for review. Applicants must be able to perform regular manual work, including heavy lifting. A valid Massachusetts Drivers License and the ability to understand both written and verbal instructions is a position requirement. In order to receive consideration for these positions, applicants must be available, qualified, able and willing, in the opinion of the Authority, to perform the job. In addition, applicants will be required to pass practical skills test. The most senior applicant who meets the above criteria will be promoted to the position.
