HOUSING PROGRAM ANALYST III

The Housing Program Analyst III designs, develops, implements, and evaluates existing and proposed low-income housing, community and/or economic development programs, and community development plans.

The ideal candidate must be must be a self-starter, proactive, flexible, and supportive of change and cross training. We desire individuals who can take initiative, develop relationships, cross thread with other jurisdictions and stay current in the industry.

Education and/or Experience:

  1. One (1) year of experience as a Housing Program Analyst II in the County of San Diego; OR,
  2. A bachelor's degree from an accredited U.S. college or university, or a certified foreign studies equivalency in business administration, public administration, urban studies/planning, or a closely related field, AND, three (3) years of professional experience in planning and developing local housing, community development and/or economic development programs.

Note: A master's degree from an accredited U.S. college or university, or a certified foreign studies equivalency in business administration, public administration, urban studies/planning, or a closely related field may substitute for up to one (1) year of the required experience.

Evaluation
 
Qualified applicants will be placed on a twelve (12) month employment list based on scores received during the evaluation of information contained in their employment and supplemental applications.
