The Cambridge Housing Authority seeks applicants for the above-referenced position in which the incumbent's responsibilities will include oversight of a housing portfolio consisting of mixed-finance properties, including tax credits, public housing, and Section 8 subsidized units. Responsible for tax credit compliance including income and rent recertification, tenant selection, annual reports and coordinating the requirements with the Section 8 and public housing programs. Supervises administrative and maintenance staff assigned to various developments. Areas of responsibility also include financial management, employee/labor relations, community relations, physical asset preservation, regulatory and policy implementation, and compliance.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in public administration or related field and a minimum of five years of experience in housing management. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree a combination of education and experience may be considered. Tax Credit Certification and at least three years experience involving direct supervision or program responsibility required. Excellent communication and computer skills are required.
