Full Job Description: 

Under direction of the Executive Director, the Director of Human Resources plans, supervises, coordinates and directs a full range of human resource management services that include, but are not limited to: staffing and recruitment; labor and employee relations; position classification; salary and wage administration (including salary surveys and comparability studies); benefits administration; employee development; position management and personnel reporting; training; and various related personnel records programs.  Please note:  Experience with NJ Pensions and Public Employees' Retirement System preferred.  For the complete job description please visit our website under "About Us", select Careers:  www.jerseycityha.org

"The New Jersey Residency Law states that any employees hired September 1st, 2011 or after, are required to live in the State of New Jersey. The law requires all public employees who work in New Jersey to reside in New Jersey. This includes all public school employees.  All new employees hired after September 1, 2011 who live out of state are required to relocate to NJ within 1 year.  In addition, any employee that chooses to relocate out of state after September 1st, 2011, will be required to move back to NJ within 1 year.  If you are not in compliance with this law, you will lose your employment."
