This exempt position reports directly tot he Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and provides executive support which includes keeping the CEO informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities. The Deputy to the CEO serves as the primary contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the Office of the CEO. The Deputy also serves as a liaison to the Board of Commissioners/Directors and senior management teams; organizes and coordinates executive outreach and external relations efforts; and oversees special projects. Work requires extensive application of independent judgment and initiative with critical and organization-wide impact. The Deputy works independently on projects, from conception to completion and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activites and confidential matters with discretion. A Bachelor's degree is required, strong work tenure; five (5) to ten (10) years of experience supporting High Level Executives; experience and interest in internal and external communications; proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat.
