The Property Manager has full responsibility for all aspects of the management of the site on a daily basis. S/he is responsible for ensuring that the standards and priorities of the owner and The Housing Authority of the City of Durham are met. The Property Manager is responsible for keeping Portfolio Manager apprised of significant issues that arise in the normal course of events, either by telephone or during her/his regular site visit.
Bachelor’s degree a minimum, ideally with a focus in management, public policy, urban planning or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in effective marketing required. At least three years of experience in LIHTC, private market, mixed income property management and experience involving public contact preferred. Must obtain Public Housing Management certification within 12 months of employment.
