CLPHA's 2020 Housing Is Summit

CLPHA’s Housing Is Summit is the preeminent event dedicated to collaboration among the housing, education, and health sectors. Register for the conference today to secure the best rate:

  • Early Bird Registration is available through January 17, 2020.
  • Regular Registration is available from January 18, 2020 through April 17, 2020.
  • Late Registration is available for anyone who registers after April 17, 2020.

Each person planning to attend the 2020 Housing Is Summit must purchase an individual registration. We have three attendee categories:

  • Nonprofit & Government applies to all non-profit/government attendees besides CLPHA member housing authorities, including advocacy organizations, researchers, think tanks, foundations, schools/educators, healthcare providers.
  • CLPHA Member applies to staff at our 70 Council of Large Public Housing Authorities members. The rate is 50% off the Nonprofit & Government rate; you must be logged into a CLPHA.org account (all CLPHA PHA staff can register for an account if they do not have one already).
  • Corporate/For-Profit applies to law firms, consultants, developers, and other companies attending the Summit. Companies might also want to explore our Summit Sponsorship Opportunities as all our sponsorships include at least one complimentary registration.

Conference speakers will be offered a 15% discount off our Regular Registration Rate. Instructions about how to secure this discount will be sent with notification of proposal acceptance.

CLPHA Members: How to Register

In order to secure our Member rate of 50% off, you must be signed into a CLPHA.org account (available to staff at all our member PHAs). Follow these simple steps to secure your member rate today!

  1. Log In or Register at CLPHA.org. Anyone with a PHA email address is able to sign up for an account

  2. Once signed in, return to the Summit registration page.

  3. Select Nonprofit & Government Rate on Summit registration form. If logged into your CLPHA.org account, the Nonprofit & Government rate should have a 50% discount applied.

Accepted Forms of Payment

All major credit/debit cards are accepted for Early Bird, Regular, or Late Registration. We will also accept check payments for Early Bird or Regular Registration, but we cannot accept checks for Late Registration. For more information, see Terms and Conditions below.

 

Terms and Conditions

Check Payments: If paying by check, attendees must send checks to CLPHA c/o Trena Mainor (455 Massachusetts Ave NW Suite 425, Washington, DC 20001). Checks must be received by April 17, 2020. No check payments will be accepted after April 17, 2020; all Late Registration payments must be made by credit or debit card.

  • Early Bird Registration: Checks must be postmarked no later than February 17, 2020. Any attendees registered for Early Bird whose checks are postmarked February 18-April 17, 2020 must pay the Regular Registration rate.

  • Regular Registration: Checks must be postmarked by April 17, 2020. We cannot accept check payments after April 17, 2020; any Regular Registration attendee without a check postmarked by April 17, 2020 will be subject to Late Registration pricing and payment method.
  • Late Registration: We can only accept credit or debit card payments for Late Registration.

Cancellation & Transfer Policy:

  • Cancellation and Refunds: If you need to cancel your conference registration, please contact Kirsten Greenwell at clpha@clpha.org. Eligibility for refunds and amount of refund varies based on the date cancellation is requested. You will be refunded with the same payment method used for the original payment (refund to credit/debit card or by check).
    • Cancellation requests made by the Regular Registration deadline of April 17, 2020 will be refunded 90% of registration cost paid.
    • Cancellation requests made between April 17 and April 24, 2020 will be refunded 50% of registration cost paid.
    • No refunds will be issued for registrations canceled after April 24, 2020 or no-shows.
  • Registration Transfers: You may transfer your registration to another person if the request is made via email to clpha@clpha.org by April 24, 2020. Please include the contact information for the person to whom you would like to transfer your registration in that e-mail correspondence.
