Creating Communities of Practice
This area of the website has been created to help foster communication between members at the staff level. From time to time, CLPHA receives information requests from members who want to learn about the financial and management operations of other large housing authorities. “Practitioner’s Corner” allows members to post these information requests to the entire CLPHA membership directly, which will allow for more information sharing and quicker responses.
Current information requests will be noted in CLPHA newsletters, and all responses will be made available in here, behind the member login. Requests and responses will be updated on a weekly basis.
CLPHA hopes that this feature will create communities of practice that will be able to share solutions to the challenges that housing authorities face today. The sophistication and navigability of "Practitioner's Corner" will increase as CLPHA redesigns its website; feedback and suggestions are welcome.
